If required, the fire report can also be printed manually by anyone pressing the F2 key from any designated computer(s) throughout the building. Within seconds, the fire roll call report is sorted into fire zone order & printed. Ready for the fire marshals to tear-off the till style receipt print out and take to the designated fire assembly muster point. In an emergency situation, particularly when under pressure – time really is of the essence. Under such circumstances, our system will automatically jump into action requiring no intervention from you. Ensuring the accountability and safety of everyone in the workplace is assured.
To complement the above configuration, you can also use a tablet device running our MusterPoint App, all you need is a WiFi signal.
We of course hope our system will never be put to the test. Though back in 2015 the unthinkable happened. One of our customers Teknor Apex, based in Oldbury, Birmingham, suffered a devastating fire that involved 70 fire fighters. The inferno that could be seen 50 miles away destroyed 75% of their factory within a matter of minutes.
